Spoke to Dereham Town Council this afternoon. They are thrilled that Mr Fry is getting married, and delighted it’s going to happen in Dereham.
To put this in context, previous stories we’ve run about Dereham include:
A pothole ridden patch of road that happened to be the entrance to the council carpark was bought accidentally by a Chinese property firm. They didn’t speak English so ignored all the letters from the council demanding they fix the road. The potholes got pretty bad before it was sorted out.
People often steal the lightbulbs from the lights on the Christmas Tree.
Whenever the date is set, it’s going to be a pretty eventful time for the little town.
